It's back!!!! The Straight Talk Express Rides Again

Via the Politico this morning, I noticed that John McCain brought out a revamped version of the famed Straight Talk Express from his 2000 campaign.

IMO this is a great move by the Senator as he moves around the country and tries to brand his image for a 2008 run at the White House.

My favorite part of the Politico article is this quote:

"John McCain is different and his Straight Talk Express is different and America is different."

I think that sums up my thoughts on the McCain campaign perfectly. The Senator made a valiant go at it in 2000, but when it was all said and done 00' was just not the right time for John McCain.

After doing what any noble politician would do, he accepted his defeat, stayed true to his principles and worked with the administration to protect and serve America.

Quantum Leap to 2007-2008....

Here we are now, post 9/11 and wrapped in a struggle to bring freedom and democracy to the Middle East...the Politico's thoughts ring very true:

"John McCain is different and his Straight Talk Express is different and America is different."

John McCain is not the same candidate he was in 2000, America is not the same place it was in 2000, but one thing is the same; the Straight Talk Express is still ready and willing to give Americans a no nonsense, common sense view on the state of America and the direction we need to go...
